Cooden Beach Golf Club

Dress Code

Like all golf clubs we have a dress code which underlines the necessity of having standards that we feel are appropriate and should be maintained for the clubhouse and the course in the present day.

Whilst you remain our guests for the duration of your stay with us, the Club would ask respectfully that you observe our dress regulations accordingly.

We would in tandem with this also ask that all members of your proposed group are made aware of these requirements in advance of your visit in order that any embarrassment on the day itself may be avoided.

ON THE COURSE

  • Short above-ankle socks are acceptable but must be predominantly white.
  • Tailored shorts. Cargo or camouflage shorts or trousers are not acceptable.
  • Shirts must be tucked into either trousers or shorts.
  • Shirts without collars are not permitted.
  • Only approved golf shoes are permissible.
  • Trainers are not allowed.
  • Jeans, denim, tee-shirts and track suits are regrettably unacceptable.
  • Caps must be worn with the peak facing forwards.

IN THE CLUBHOUSE

  • Jackets and ties must be worn in the Dining Room but in the Clubhouse smart casual wear is perfectly acceptable, though this excludes jeans, cargo pants, tee-shirts, open-necked shirts without collars, track suits and trainers. Caps and headgear must be removed at all times.
  • Socks should be worn at all times - it is not acceptable to wear deck shoes without socks.
  • Your help with the observation of the Dress and Etiquette Codes would be much appreciated by members and visitors alike.

Any person not adhering to the Club's dress code may be asked to leave.
