The Cooden Beach Golf Academy

The Cooden Beach Golf Academy is the best way to learn to play or to improve your golfing skills. Shaun Creasey, our PGA Head professional, has over 25 years of experience and has developed a popular following for his friendly approach to teaching golf. James Tiltman, our PGA Professional, joined the team in September 2024 and has two years of experience. James adopts a modern teaching philosophy and frequently plays on the PGA South Region & SPGU.

Our Academy Starter & Academy Plus memberships offer everyone the opportunity to learn to play. Recently we have had  particular success in introducing women into golf with starter sessions for complete beginners. Many have moved on to join either of our Academy categories and some have taken the step to progress in to off-peak or full golf memberships.
